We took a long trip to Oak City Utah in the RV to meet up with the Gardner clan.
It’s 14 miles from Delta Utah where Dad grew up. So we took the scenic route and visited gravesites of grandparents and great grandparents. Saw dads childhood home and Dairy
Jens and Katie’s kids
It was so nice to visit with Jen, Joe, Dad and their families. We played games, went on a few hikes and hung out way too late around the campfire, laughing till we cried.
Mom said “I don’t know who you are, but we’re best friends!”Quite the vertical climb to get here
I'm trying to live the most meaningful and intentional life possible. Minimalist, Vegetarian, Fierce protector of a full night sleep, Mother, Wife, Daughter -caretaker, Sister, Friend, Nurse. Sharing day to day life with family and friends. A quest to minimize effects of Alzheimer's Disease.

My name is Kate, I am a daughter to a mother who has Alzheimers. I’m also a wife, mother, nurse, sister and friend. This is my worlds lens as a caregiver daughter and my safe place to document and sometimes vent about this three ring circus we are living. Supportive comments are welcome and as my mom used to say “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!”
