This weekend was pretty uneventful compared to last weekend. We had a barbecue on Friday night with a few of Shaun’s disk golf buddies. It was few families with small kids which mom enjoys for a few minutes but gets quickly overwhelmed with the noise and excitement. So she ended up hiding in her room for most of the barbecue.

Sunday we went to church and then spent the day puttering in the garden which is coming along wonderfully. Mom’s flower bed is blooming and growing. She enjoys watering the flower bed but has a unique way of doing it, she likes to opt out of using the watering can and instead use one of her small plastic juice bottles which she makes many trips in and out of her room. I guess it keeps her busy.

Next weekend we are planning another quick trip down to Salt Lake City, Shaun has some jobs and the triplets will be in town with their mom and dad for a wedding, so we are all tagging along with JoAnn and going to see them for a couple hours and take pictures.

Side-note- mom has a cyst on her abdomen which I lanced and drained and hopefully that’s the end of it, but just in case we need to go see a doctor, I wanted to make a note of that.

And we had smart locks installed for Kristy and JoAnn to come and go without keys. I was hoping they would prevent mom from wandering off when that time comes, but I think that’s going to take another layer of security.
