Such a memorable week! I love when David comes up to visit. The boys, Jack and Joe REALLY love it when David comes up. Mom gets giddy when David comes to visit.

We went to Aquaman the movie which of course mom had seen “many times before” and informed everyone who would listen.

We also went bowling and mom actually did it this time. After a few refresher courses from David, and mom got a Spare twice! She was having so much fun. It’s nice to see her light up.

So many days she hides in her room due to not being able to communicate well. She’s even been refusing to go to church lately, unless I trick her into going.

Communication is hard…I really wish I was a good cartoonist. Someday I’ll get a illustrator….

Me-“You should change your shoes into something you can wear in the snow”

Mom-“it’s fine! I’ve worn them before”

10 minutes later… Mom-“why didn’t you tell me it snowed. I would have worn different shoes!”

Me-“here’s your ear plugs, for the movie”

(Later in the car)

Me-“did you bring your earplugs?”

Mom-“no, I don’t need them”

Me-(stopped at dollar tree and bought earplugs)

Mom-(walking into the theater) “are they going to turn the sound down?”

Me-(handing her ear plugs)

Mom-“why do I need two?”
