We are spending the week getting ready for Christmas….

Mom finally decided to go to church today after 2 weeks of post nasal drip excuses. It was a nice Christmas sermon.

We got the closet installed this week. It looks so much better then I envisioned. Mom had a hard time the afternoon they installed it. Pacing and asking if they were done when there were obvious sounds of saws in the room.

Today she came out and said, “well they might be good at construction, but they are also good at stealing my things!” Then she shows me an empty CD case. I said, “mom your CDs were boxed up the whole time the guys were here, nobody stole anything!” I immediately found the missing CD in her room, And said “mom you have a bad habit of accusing people of stealing when they don’t. You need to stop!”

Most of her confabulations I just let go, smile and nod, but accusations of theft get under my skin and I can’t be passive about it.
