Closet
Mom needs a closet. Her form of entertainment is shopping, and she is busting out of her closets seams. We had planned a permanent closet before she moved in last year, but ran out of funds, so this IKEA closet was supposed to be temporary, a year later and it’s time.

So we took a trip to look at a showroom and pick out doors and hardware. There were too many choices for mom and she got overwhelmed quickly.

Hoping we can get this done before too long.
Interesting development, she has started ruminating about a childhood friend who she thinks was murdered. I never met her, but from previous conversations I know this friend got married and had a daughter, then passed away from cancer in her adult years, but now mom thinks her mother did something to her as a teenager.
I tried to remind her but she goes right back into this story.
I do remember that Katy Wadsworth, Karen’s childhood friend, died of cancer at a very young age. Meriam Wadsworth, Katy’s mother, was a childhood friend of Grandma Peggy Greenwood. Their homes were close together on 13th East. Katy had 5 or 6 sisters. We visited with Meriam about 3 years ago, she was 94 and still living on 13th East. We visited with her that August, and she passed away the following October. I emailed Karen the obituary at the time. The Wadsworth and Greenwood families were all very close throughout Karen’s growing up years.
