We took a long 5 day 4 night trip to Boise because Shaun had a job there during spring break. So we rented an SUV (5 people get crowded fast in my little Honda), and a couple rooms (mom and I in one, boys in the other) in a hotel that Shaun had stayed in before. He knew there was an indoor pool and continental breakfast there, (very important things).

We decided to do every touristy thing available. Stopped at the Evil Kenevil jump site and Snake River Shoshone Falls…

we went to the State Capitol for a tour …

Guidos Pizza for NewYork style pizza…

And a few other restaurants, BBQ4Life, and Sushi place.

We saw the old state Penitentiary that was supposed to be haunted….

Also took some downtown walks and park excursions. Found a hip vegan bakery that had outrageously priced doughnuts…

Mom worked out with me on a stationary bike in the small exercise room while the boys swam every day. It made me think I need to get her an exercise bike.

We had pretty good weather besides the brief snowstorm on the way home…
