It was a long sad weekend with Jerry’s funeral. Mom handled it pretty well but it’s brought up memories of Clane and her parents. She often tells the story of her mom’s death, where she remembers her final words were “they’re here! They are all here!” As she looked towards the heavens, before taking her last breath. She insists that is how she will die. I hope she is right.
