Settling

Moms doing well, we are settling into a routine, long walks at least 3 times a week, oatmeal for breakfast, piano playing daily, grocery shopping once a week. Seems like same old, same old. This week both her harp and piano are getting serviced and tuned, not cheaply I’d mention. But it’s worth it. She has a home nurse and speech therapist coming weekly to help with memory and medical needs, not really necessary at this point, but it gives her someone to talk to besides her family. She wants to go to the temple, and her church records were transferred, tithing is being paid so it shouldn’t be an issue. Talking to neighbors, I can call a church worker before she goes so they can keep an eye on her. She really seems to be doing better, less repetitive and remembering things she has not remembered before. It may be consistent medication or the vegetarian diet, or just getting settled into a routine. I worry she is bored when I’m at work, although my schedule is part time since I transferred departments. I cannot compete with Sagewood’s entertainment. But we try, this is us at the U Pick Barn picking out pumpkins 🎃 and mom bought us all Carmel corn. We are also planning a neighborhood Halloween party for this Saturday.
