Last Thursday Dan and Linda came up and had a nice visit, we took them to the falls and walked along the river for a bit. Mom was happy to show off her new space. This last weekend was general conference, she watched all four sessions then we took a drive up Kelly canyon to see the beautiful fall colors. I’ve been trying to get her to practice some yoga along side of me to help with her back, but she said Tai Chi was more her speed, so we signed up for 2:30 Tuesday classes at the Senior Center, JoAnn has been wanting to go for a while, and volunteered to drive. I was negligent in getting her Aricept filled for a couple days and noticed a decrease in abilities and being social. She is back on schedule now, and I can tell a difference. Encompass home health has started home visits, Patty is her nurse and mom seems to like her so far. Mom has a pressure sore in her “aperdooby” as she says, or Gluteus Maximus as we say in the medical world. Very superficial but being watched and tended to, much to her dismay.
