October 2023
We started out this month flying out to Portland to visit Hannah and Zac. Then, we took a drive to Washington to see Peter Gabriel in concert. What an amazing experience. The concert was fantastic…

Hannah introduced us to some amazing restaurants, I now dream about the Thai food we had there. And the waffle place at the Food Truck pod, Hawthorn Asylum.

Hannah gave us the special tour around the Portland Leather warehouse and office. Actually, everyone else in the family had already been to her office already. I left pretty spoiled.

It was amazing inside. I’m so glad she has found her place and passion here. She really gets to touch lives and make amazing friends.

Note to self, I am not a jeep person. (Sorry Greg) haha

Jack and I did some fall hiking before the leaves fell. Just made it to the car when it started raining.

The boys are fully back into the school routine. We are using Study.com this year for academic work because of the opportunity for college credits. Jack and David have also joined me volunteering Fridays at the Food Bank.
I am starting a new nursing job in 3 weeks. I transferred to Utilization Review. The hope is to become a remote worker, so by spring, we can be up on the mountain developing the Oregon land.
Our brains are exploding with ideas and information to start an organic “farm” greenhouse and structures to provide a tourism destination and intentional community.

Practice makes perfect
