Shaun

Happy birthday to my husband!

To celebrate his 52 years on earth, and also finally a little break from being on the road for about a month now, we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with all the boys and Mom then came home to watch the movie Cocaine Bear. 🤣🤯🤢

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this man is my rock. I’m so grateful I get to share this life and family with him. His love knows no bounds when it comes to his family. His laugh is contagious and his conversations and motivational, positive attitude is inspiring.

Working so hard at the successful business that he’s put his heart into. He’s touched so many lives and inspired anyone who has an opportunity to work with him.

He’s humble and would never brag about his success, so I need to brag for him.

Fatherhood is meant for some people, and Shaun puts his whole heart into it. He’s the ultimate Dad, and when the boys reflect on this time of their lives, they will see how lucky they truly are. A teacher and trusted confidant, hard on them if the situation calls for it, and a big teddy bear the rest of the time. A perfect balance for raising healthy children.

I listened to my oldest, David, having a conversation with the waiter at the restaurant. He asked about plans for the weekend. David says “we just had a long month on the road so we are taking it easy now”. The waiter asked where they have been, and David rattles off, “Portland, Las Vegas, Salt Lake” and I realized how amazing it is my boys get to explore the West with their Dad and travel together. Watching him work and interact with hundreds of humans, from every walk of life.

I’m very grateful and count my blessings daily.
