Unschooling /deschooling philosophy
Museum memberships. Zoo membership. Homeschool group trips & playdates. Park to disk golf, Lots of playing. Lots of family. Lots of health focus. Lots of life skills. Lots of learning unplanned & planned.

Lots of interest led. Lots of friends all ages. Lots of when they were ready, their pace, and the wonder of a child. We never stopped. Seasons change & new things have come but we will never stop this way of life learning.

We don’t fit in a box. The 9-5. The 8-3. The traditional image of homeschool. We aren’t a school, we aren’t trying to mimic one or follow the grade aligned bench marks.

They don’t need to ask to go to the restroom or outside 30 min or less. Our evenings aren’t full of homework. They have friends of all ages. They learn money in real world settings as we go & live. They see Dad work, and work alongside of him. we live, play, socialize. We dive into interest for hours, weeks, months. Routine to the seasons & family.

Learning that isn’t forced. Learning as fits our family. Learning that is free, freedom that shapes the child. Unconventional. We weren’t designed to live in the box they created for us. The Coercive system we unplugged from.

This is freedom. FREEDOM of the mind, body, & spirit. It’s a lifestyle, not an 8-3 system.
Its taken sacrifices to do and is 24-7 work, it’s worth it!!!!
