Planning, dreaming, reunion

I can vision my future so clearly. This will be our main view from the back of our house.
We will have a quiet and safe space. Lots of land to grow and play in. I’m so excited to be part of an amazing educational workshop coming up in September with Monolithic domes; https://monolithicdome.com/learn-to-build-a-dome-at-the-fall-2022-monolithic-dome-builders-workshop
We had a Taylor/Roberts reunion this weekend. It was in Idaho Falls for the first time in EVER we did not have to drive up to Swan Valley. I think it was a success. We had not been in 3 or 4 years due to Covid and Health issues of some form or another. But since it was literally down the street in our neighborhood, we could not pass it up. It was so great to see mom with her cousins and family. The food was fabulous and the company was amazing, so many laughs and stories. I used to groan at the idea of reunion’s but I think I’m getting old, it was actually fun.

So on the homestead 😉 we have been busy with house projects, gardening, fixing fences, burning branches, and trying to get the spare room remodeled for the prospect of turning it into an Airbnb. As much as Shaun stays in them on his travels, we figure we could make our money back and more if we were on the other end of that. I found healthcare specific sites that traveling providers will rent for short term stays. They will have to be fully aware that we are in IDAHO and we have all those fine Idaho specific smells and noises and chickens. So that will be interesting marketing. Ha
