What we have been up to the last couple months……

I got a second job. I’m going to be working for a company out of Colorado. I passed all the tests and got my certification to be a Certified Mobile Research Nurse.

We are slowly working on the backyard and garden. I got most my plants that I grew from seed in. The boys helped me get a cattle panel trellis up for vine plants. Chickens are all alive and thriving. 2 years no deaths or disease.

We went mushroom hunting for morels with Jen and Maddie. Found a bunch, came home and made a wild rice Morel risotto for my lunches at work.

Got to hang with these cuties for a day. This is the house Rebecca grew up in. Its pretty spectacular.

We made a ~~years~~ months worth of strawberry jam and syrup.

Shaun and I celebrated 16 years married. Go Mitchell’s!!

We got free tickets to a Bret Michael’s concert.

Summer break has started

We visited a local cheese maker, Manwaring. And the boys made an awesome charcuterie board.

Grandma had her echocardiogram, all testing came back negative for stroke. Turns out her chances of stroke are less then 5%. Hyperbaric chamber really seemed to help the bells palsy, but insurance is not covering them. We had an appointment last week to an ENT to evaluate balance and vertigo and bloody noses. More visits to a balance specialist in the future. And dentist visits coming up.

Joe working at dads studio FaceTime. They still travel every week, the boys take turns who goes with dad. They enjoy audio books and podcasts in the car rides, Jack is almost halfway through the Harry Potter series and Joe is working his way through Enders Game series. We still do book club as a family, this month is The Glass Castle. By Jeanette Walls.

And I’m tired.
