It won’t be long now
She’s lost all strength to stand or even lift her arm to scratch her nose. Her breathing is shallow with long periods of gasping. She’s unable to clear her throat.
We have been so blessed with many people who are so knowledgeable and comforting. Kristy is my number one. She’s changed her schedule around and came three different times yesterday to position her, Sponge bathe and keep her from getting bedsores. Cindy our hospice nurse is coming daily, even on her normal days off.
Of course I owe so much to Jen. She’s been there every step. I think this will be hardest on her. She’s definitely taken on the caregiver role seriously. Love, love you Jen β€β€

I can’t text hourly updates, but I’ll try to keep information coming when any major changes happen.
Cindy said it could be any hour, to another 10 days. Her body is so healthy besides her brain, and she’s a fighter as experienced in the past.
It’s difficult to watch and sometimes I wish we could just let someone else take away this experience, yet I wouldn’t change it in the same breath.
Besides, due to overwhelmed hospitals because of the pandemic, we are really the only option anyway. π
