This angel 😇 keeps mom alive, happy, medicated and fed. Mom trusts her unquestionably.  She is a miracle worker and I cannot say enough positive things. I am forever grateful for the last wonderful years in we have had her in our lives.

We updated her Nest security cameras outside, now we can get alerts if she gets out. And I can monitor things while I’m working if Shaun isn’t home. And monitor all the hospice, caretakers, pharmacy deliveries, and visitors. We have a very busy front porch right now.

We also purchased a new cooler for her bedroom, because SUMMER. AND somebody decided to pour a melted shake over the buttons of her old room air-conditioning.  Not pointing fingers,  but well, you know. 😉

I had another experience of Karens guardian angels waking me to help mom. Last night I was in bed fast asleep when I had a work dream that my co-workers were calling my name panicked, “Katie!” like they do when a patient is going down. I woke with a start, realized I was dreaming, and tried falling back asleep,  when instantly I heard my name being called again. So this time I heeded the warning,  got out of bed to check on Karen, and found she had been up and pulled the framed floor mirror over in her bathroom.  Panicking herself, agitated and pacing. I got her back in bed and tried to go back to sleep. Those guardian angels are working overtime looking out for Karen. ❤
