Terminal Agitation
That’s a new term I learned this week. She’s in the state of constant pacing, yelling and basically agitated when she’s not asleep or highly medicated. It’s torture.

I honestly don’t understand how a body can stay alive with minimal intake of any sustainance. She hasn’t eaten for days, barely sips of her protein drinks. And lately she has forgotten how to swallow. Although Kristy got her to eat a McDonald’s hamburger somehow this week. She has more luck in the morning then I do in the afternoon. That’s called sundowner syndrome.
A long talk with the Chaplin Danny convinced me that pain medication such as morphine and fentanyl is necessary now. It came down to morally its the right thing to do. She’s needing to relax so when her time comes to pass on, she’s able to do so without pain and fear.

Apparently this is not like the movies when they say a person only has 3 days without water before they are dead. Ha! Stupid Hollywood.
