I was trying to catch her song, she sings a combination of “I am a child of God”, “Somewhere over the rainbow”, and “Day O!” This week.

We put a Speaker in her room to play music. Favorites are Piano Classics, Karen Carpenter and Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

I have to say, I love the new meds. I’m sure Kristy does too. It makes routines so much easier. No more fighting and anger. Not just anger, but loathing hate. She yelled at me “you should not be here!” When I’m trying to help last week.

Today while I was at work, she tried to escape out the front door. Shaun had to redirect her back inside and she did not know who he was, very hesitant to follow him.

She spent the afternoon wandering the house picking up things and replacing them elsewhere. I “Alzheimer” proofed her room, but failed to do so in the rest of the house. It could get interesting.

She LOVES this blanket Kristy gave her for Christmas. Obsession is an understatement, sometimes we have to put it away just to eat or get anything done.
