Sunshine needed a little brother apparently.. the boys have been begging for months since Huck and River came to stay. And Sunshine seemed more depressed every time the puppies left. I think the final straw was visiting Gail and Docs place with the menagerie of canines. And Shaun happened upon Fynn, a Burnese Mtn./Poodle mix. Burnese Mountain dog has been George’s favorite breed since he’s been researching dog breeds/temperament/training. So far it’s been awesome. He’s such a good puppy, he’s almost 4 months old.

Mom has her appetite and energy is back! Thank goodness. I was actually talking to a Hospice nurse to see when/if we needed their services. But it seems like she’s much better lately.

The weather is getting cold, today we woke to a dusting of snow. She’s starting to layer again, the gloves and scarf help with skin picking so we have been encouraging those for a few weeks now. I need to get her twiddle muffs and I think it’s time for a lap cat, to help ward off winter depression. I just can’t find one realistic enough.
