This is our dog Sunshine…

She is almost 11 months old. The boys got her for Christmas last year. She’s a typical puppy, a mix retriever, poodle, very mischievous, very smart, full of energy and honesty I was worried about Mom and Sunshine being in the same house, personality wise.

I shouldn’t have worried…

Sunshine can sense that something is different about mom. She tends to be more passive around her.

She knows Mom gives good scratches behind her ears, calls her a “good boy”, sneaks her food from the table, and lets her outside from her sliding glass door when we are doing anything important in the back yard that we specifically quarantined sunshine in the house for. Sunshine has learned the system, has mom pegged. Like I said, she’s a very smart dog.

Sunshine is good company for mom. I hear her talking to the dog much better then humans. Sunshine doesn’t ask hard questions, listens patiently to jumbled words, and provides company to mom when everyone else is to busy to slow down.
