Mom likes to help in the kitchen. She stands in front of the sink scratching dishes with her fingernails. Most of the time they end back mixed in with the dirty dishes. But it keeps her busy, and I always tell her thank you for helping.

Today a neighbor down the road must have had a medical situation and needed an ambulance. Since the kitchen window faces the road mom stood and watched for 20 minutes while the ambulance was outside their house. It was uneventful and they left with an empty rig, but less then an hour passed and moms got a great story about fiery car crashes and people bleeding in the streets.

I’m afraid she will become the neighborhood gossip, spreading false rumors, if she remembers her stories long enough. 😂
