Spring fever
We are almost 2 months into quarantine and honestly I’m kinda enjoying it. We are so blessed to have a home and yard and so many projects needing done. The garden has been put in and we started on time this year, so I’m expecting great things fingers crossed 🤞.

We found a steal of a deal on marketplace for a chicken coop. So instead of spending $500 plus just for lumber, and hardware, I got it for $120! Which was a huge blessing because funds are tight with Shaun not working and my hours cut way down.

Last year mom was able to help me do some planting flowers and seeds, but she is not able to this year. It takes me saying things 3-4 times for the words to register. Besides formality and laughing when others are laughing, she cannot follow basic instructions. We do go on walks and I point out things, if it’s in front of her it’s relevant. But concepts are gone.

It’s so difficult for people in general to understand dementia when they see an intact human. In a way this quarantine has been easier on me, simply not having the stress of social interactions with mom. Sadly 😞
