This merry go round never stops and seems to be speeding up. Mom, Jack and I drove down to attended a funeral in Brigham City. Both my and moms best friends from Hilo, Lisa Casey’s son, Karen Bade’s grandson, Kirk died in a tragic accident serving his country in Afghanistan. Bitter sweet to see her, under these horrible circumstances. We met up with Dad and Jen for the viewing and to pay our respects. Lisa and her family was very happy to see us.

Mom had her annual eye exam with the rest of the family at ABSee vision care. They dilated her eyes and I forgot to tell Kristy, who being very observant the next day, messaged me with her concerns.

*Update optometrist sees the beginning signs of cataracts. No real issues now, but to keep annual appts consistent to monitor for changes, which he expected her to not need surgery for 5 years more or less

Jack had his Christmas program at school where he got to play Santa! He’s so cute!

Both grandmas loved the performance..

The puppy is settling into routines, being trained well, rare accidents anymore. We definitely have to wear her energy down multiple times a day. But she’s got such a great personality.
