We went to watch Jack sing with his group at the festival of trees. Mom had gone earlier in the week with Kristy so she leaned over during Jack’s performance and stated, “you know I’ve been here all night long!”

Mom loves singing along with all the songs, music is one thing that she can verbalize well. The rest of her language is failing quickly.

we also took both the grandma’s to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Mom ordered a “medium”, after we told the waitress to cook George’s cheeseburger medium well. It’s nice to have an older waitress who recognizes dementia. She didn’t skip a beat, said “okay!” Then looked at me for clarification.

And she brought out moms first, so there was no anxiety on her part. I don’t know if it was deliberate or not, but I was grateful.

Thanksgiving in St George has been cancelled. We will be braving the snowstorm at home. Dad didn’t want us to chance it.
