The boys invited us to their school pancake brunch and mini golf. Mom goes into teacher mode when she’s around elementary age kids.

We tried church on Sunday, but 5 minutes before leaving, she complained of a sore throat, (her old standby to get out of church). Sometimes I feel like we have switched roles from my childhood. I had all kinds of excuses to get out of going to church. But her sore throat was forgotten about when we left to go to the park and run errands. She loves walking around Sams club and sampling “most” foods. Hated the lunch meat though. Just recently cold cuts are the worst thing to serve her at lunch. Maybe she OD’d on lunch meat during our many RV trips, since we avoid eating out much, cold cuts were the go to lunch. But a Sams Club Berry Sunday made it all worth while.
