So while the cats are away the mice will play… (actually work mostly)

Shaun took the boys with him to Work, Boise and Salt Lake City this week. Kristy has come every morning and takes mom out and about for 4 hours more or less. She usually puts on a movie when she leaves after lunch and mom watches that then takes a nap. I observe from the house cameras making sure everything is okay, if nobody else is home, and she habitually sticks tightly to her routines. When I get home around 3:00 mom has forgotten about the morning and insisted she’s been left alone all day. So yesterday we went out to Olive Garden for an early bird dinner. It’s nice to have that one on one time, because it’s easier to talk for her, although it’s usually just what’s in front of her at that very moment.

I reminded her about our upcoming trip again, although she will still think I’m pulling a surprise on her when it happens… “why doesn’t anyone tell me!” And “if I only knew about this I could have prepared”

Kristy will pack her bags, and this time I told her not to leave them in her room, because she had them unpacked less then an hour later. It’s going to be an interesting trip…
