Moms doing pretty well, considering we are completely out of her element. Just a lot of repetitive questions of who we are visiting, and trying to keep her out of the men’s restrooms. It’s been a successful trip…

We picked up David first thing, ate a big breakfast at Village Inn (on free pie day), took a winding tour through the UofU campus (maybe getting lost) then up to Hogal Zoo for the morning… (it was a “tid bit nipply”, as mom likes to say)…

Then we picked up take and bake pizzas at Harmon’s and headed to Dads for dinner and helping clean, change lightbulbs, packed some garden tools, took pictures of items to sell on marketplace, storytelling and talking.

Mom was feeling pretty affectionate, and cuddled up next to dad pretty much every chance she could get. It’s cute and a little awkward but, no harm, no foul.

We kidnapped David for the night at our Airbnb, and will head home in the morning. Wish we had more time and money to visit more people while we were here. I’d like for mom to see her siblings, but they could take another 3 days. And the boys are way behind starting their science projects. So we’ll hurry home and make sure the fish aren’t dead.
