Mom obsesses over her misplaced items being stolen. She also misplaces items VERY FREQUENTLY.

Yesterday morning mom cannot locate her wallet AGAIN even though it’s in the same place every time. But this time, instead of coming to me, she makes a beeline for George, accusing him of stealing her money. 😡

Nothing raises my blood pressure more then my boys being accused of being thieves when they are innocent bystanders. We have the boys well trained to not argue with her, and come straight to us when things like this happen. Which he did.

But I don’t know how to handle mom when whatever I say will be forgotten 5 minutes later. After “finding” the wallet, I reminded her to ask me or Shaun for help and not the boys. It’s so hard to be patient in situations like that.
