Tried some bowling tonight. Mom put on the shoes but that’s as far as she got. The choice of balls was too much, and I think she was thrown off by how heavy they were. So she just cheered from the sidelines and enjoyed her shoes, and a cheesy pretzel.

Church tomorrow. She hasn’t been complaining of sensitive hearing lately, but last night she said she has a swishing in her ears every time she moves her head, so I took a quick peek with my mommy otoscope (read not office quality) and saw a hair on her right eardrum. I did a quick lavage and she said it was better. That and a dose of allergy medicine and I’m hoping we don’t need another visit to the ENT. Time will tell. But when I asked her about it today, she couldn’t remember the ear issues from yesterday, so that’s a good sign.
