This week we had a night out to see Shrek the musical. We thought it was fantastic for local talent and a good introduction to theatre for the boys. Mom seemed to be suffering through it. I think there were too many fart and burp jokes for her liking. But she forgot quickly and by the finale she was clapping and cheering.

Today we had thanksgiving at our house. The boys helped with the menu and took charge of a few dishes…

Joe made a trifle

And Jack made ham rolls and drinks for the punch bowl

Then we ate till we were stuffed
