Mom and I did some running around Wednesday to get oil changed on ladies day, so free flowers for us besides Grease Monkeys usual cookies, drinks and super fast service. Then to lunch at Perkins Diner (never been there before and happened to have a buy one entree, get one free) We just had soup and salad, it was okay. Then Winco grocery shopping and home to work on the yard. Mom likes to sweep, but thats about all she can do before getting confused and heading back inside.

Today we went Halloween shopping with the boys. Walmart, Goodwill, Burger King for free ice cream for us and free french fries and $1 nuggets for the boys, frugality at it’s finest. A trip to Barnes and Noble to see if we could scrounge around their clearance racks for books for the boys that correlate to the costumes they picked for the school parade next Wednesday. Something about only book characters are Halloween appropriate for school functions (shrug). Didn’t find anything under $20, so the public library is on the docket for tomorrow.

I did find a second source for the fruit fly infestation. Something unidentifiable was in moms microwave. I think its time to remove the microwave. She cannot use it and she forgets things are in there when she tries. When we got home her room was no less then 80 degrees because she cranked up the heat before we left. Joe is coming up to look and see if a Nest can connect in her room separately from the house so we can program the temperatures and get notified when she does things like that.

Boo at the Zoo tomorrow, a church potluck and a couple trunk or treat parties to attend this weekend. Going to be a fun time!
