I finally was able to record her talking to someone else about her “experience” at the World Trade Center. It changed from the last time she told me. JoAnn is a good ear, very patient and temporarily able to live in Karen’s world.

Someone told me that we are able to live in both our loved ones world of dementia, and the real world too. But she is stuck in her own world, unable to transition back to the real world. Just enjoy the ride and scenery as they take you along in their world. No need to correct her or doubt what she thinks is so real.
