It’s been a fantastic weekend, yesterday morning the boys and I went to the farmers market on our bikes in the rain to pick out treats and flowers for Grandma. Then we came home to get ready for ReaLynns dance recital at the Colonial Theater

Mom loves watching the little kids dance (mainly try to dance), it was entertainment and hilarious. She laughed till she cried. Rea did great.

This morning we surprised her with gifts, and a card and gift card from Royal. She later said she wants to see him and “clear the air”. Which is quite a long way from me having to shut down the badmouth talk when she first moved in here. Literally stopped her mid rant… “I understand you need to vent and talk about this to somebody, but that somebody is not me, he is my dad. I still talk to him often and I still love him greatly. You are talking to the wrong person.” That was enough for that conversation to never come up again.

Church all about perfect mothering, we didn’t stay for classes. Then home for a bbq.
