We took a trip up east to the lake today through Star Valley to palisades. Boys did some hiking while we took pictures for the Anders & Lee camera harness…. (shameless plug https://www.andersandlee.com/ )

We cannot tell mom what plans are until right before we are leaving, she has no concept of time or she’s worried she will forget. So when I told her the plans at breakfast about our day trip that we were leaving before lunch, she immediately got dressed, grabbed he purse and sat on the couch watching us for the next 3 hours, despite me telling her the plans a few times. Then when Shaun went out to the car to pack some bags and clean it out, she went and sat in the car even though we were not leaving for more then 30 minutes. I noticed it’s also very hard for her to tell time with her analog watch.

Mom has decided that when she was younger, 5 years old to be exact, she had taken a trip with her dad to the place we had gone 4 wheeling in September. Apparently she and JoAnn (Shaun’s mom) parents knew each other and went camping together almost 70 years ago. She’s told me the same story for the last 4 days. And last night she went over and told JoAnn, who was very gracious and accommodating.

In reality she seems to be doing much better at remembering things and daily events. We took the boys to a trampoline park, iJump. And today she recalled the entire day with specific events of the boys doing flips into a foam pit.
