Paranoia
Yesterday we saw the movie Despicable Me 3 at the dollar theater, leaving the movie she stated “How many times have you seen that movie?” I said this was my first time, and she said “Oh no, I took you kids to see that movie when you were little”, when I stated the movie actually was released this summer, she had a complete meltdown, telling me “did I think she was lying? and she knew that movie by heart”. I backtracked and said, your right that was a sequence movie and she had probably seen the others, but she brought it up multiple times through the day that she is not crazy, she saw “that EXACT movie years ago”. I ended up just nodding and trying to walk away, reiterating that she is smart and has a great memory. Oh boy, my tongue hurts from all the biting I have to do lately.

If this chart below is accurate, she has reached stage 5 at this point, with some symptoms of stage 6 such as delusions that someone is out to get her. The other day she woke saying there was a man banging on her back door. Now our back yard is fairly secure with 6 foot wooden fences from the front and chain link fences around the back, besides being completely surrounded by large irrigation ditch and a forest of trees on either side of the ditch. So Im not saying its impossible someone made it in our back yard.. but…… .
Then I had a new housekeeper for the first time last week, She did a okay job, but my mom was convinced she stole her socks right after she left, then the morning after, one shoe was missing, and she blamed the housecleaner again (Just one shoe mind you). It was found to the back of her other shoes. But I don’t think we can have a housecleaner in her area anymore when she is aware of it.

Side note, we saw Dr E Walker for her back pain, the X-Rays show arthritis in her spine right where she hurts so he put her on Duloxetine 30mg prescription for chronic pain which also has the ability to be a mood stabilizer. WooHoo! It will take a few weeks to see if it works, in the meantime she is still able to take her Advil or other NSAIDs without interference of the new medications.
