We established care with a new primary care doctor today. His APRN Josh did a very thorough exam and started home health to visit. Her vital signs are fantastic BP was 117/76, only one prescription med for memory, Aricept. During her mental status test, she did not know the year, when he asked who the president was, she said, “I don’t know his name, but I don’t think he’ll be in office much longer” which gave us all a good laugh. She did know her full name and mine too.

We ate lunch at the black bear diner on 17th street, then took a walk around Sams club. Mom found some new warm fuzzy pajamas.

We ended the day watching the boys at the swimming pool.
