I’ve been counting my blessings since mom has been here. I’m feel like almost everything has fallen into place even before her arrival. We had the space and means to build her a perfect “mother-in-law” suite. Being a nurse helps navigate her medical necessities and pills. A position in another department at my work opened up with a schedule that balances Shaun’s work schedule, so someone is almost always home with mom. (Speaking of Shaun, he has been so supportive and helpful, that mom has been bypassing me asking for Shaun sometimes) We had been practicing minimalism for the last year, purging most of our unnecessary belongings, thus made room for moms important things such as her grand piano and harp. Our plant based diet has been well established and my cooking getting better. Financially we are secure. It seems like this was meant to be, the timing couldn’t have been better.
