Diet
We have been following a plant based diet in our home for going on 3 years. Through research and education I learned so many ailments are preventable or avoided including Alzheimer’s with plant based diets.
BUT Mom is very picky about her food, she loudly and frequently complained about the chefs at Sagewood, her appetite is minimal, with oatmeal being her favorite thing. I keep a variety of fruits available but she sticks to common ones like bananas and grapes. She won’t eat cheese or eggs because it upsets her stomach. Every day we try something new and I keep running checklists of what works and doesn’t. 
Running tally of “good” foods – wheat bread and butter with strawberry jam,
grapes,
bananas,
brown sugar oatmeal,
peppermint tea,
chicken and wild rice soup from scratch,
bagels,
yogurt vanilla,
corn on the cob,
spaghetti squash with sauce,
